Maynard Troyer

The Speedbowl family would like to express our condolences to the Troyer family. We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Maynard Troyer. Maynard was a fierce Modified competitor, having won 4 track championships at the Lancaster Speedway. Also, he was the winner of the prestigious Stafford Spring Sizzler in the modified division in 1977, 1978, and 1979. In 1977, he founded Troyer Engineering, which has been the leading modified chassis builder on both dirt and asphalt, since it’s inception. Maynard was a great man and an innovator in modified racing. Maynard Troyer was 79 years old.
