WATERFORD — The entire New London-Waterford Speedbowl famiy was in a state of shock Tuesday when it was learned that Richard “Bubby Brouwer had died of cancer at the age of 53. Summer Showdown showcases the Legend cars with $2000 to WIN!

Waterford- The Summer Showdown Legends race is just under two weeks away. It’s a beautiful day for racing at the Speedbowl- blue sky and race cars! Who could ask for anything more! Plenty of action on tap for tonight with the ACT (American-Canadian) Tour running 150 lap race along with the  Ministocks, Sportsman, Sk Lights and Sk Modifieds. Qualifying begins at 5 pm.
