Wild ‘n Wacky Wednesday Mid-Season Point Preview

We’ve made it to the halfway point of the season! Hard to believe, we know.
Here’s the Bandolero points preview going into this evenings event.
Milania Shilosky is currently 5 for 5 in weekly competition, with a large 23 point lead over the rest of the field. She’s currently looking to break her own consecutive win record of 5 that she set in 2021. She’s also now tied for third on the list of consecutive winners to start a season, with the like of Keith Rocco, Dana DiMatteo, and others.
The other 3 drivers who have made all 5 starts this season of Allyha DeSomma, Warren Mattesen and Connor Doyon are locked in a tight battle separated by 1 point each. with Mattesen and Doyon being the rookies in the field.
Defending INEX Legend Car champion Isaiah Newcomb currently has two Wednesday wins, and five overall in 2023. This gives him the points advantage at the halfway point of the season, with 13 ahead of both Riley Paul and Dylan Cote.
Paul scored his first career win last week with Cote taking the Magliano owned #02 car out on Wednesdays from storage, knocking on the door in that ride.
Tyler Anderson sits 10 points behind Paul and Cote.
Dylan Cabral has been white hot in the X-Cars this season, scoring 3 wins out of 5 so far. He currently sits 17 points ahead of Chris Palamar. Both drivers are the only two who haven’t missed the top 5 yet this season.
The battle for third however, is much more dramatic. Ryan Magliano sits 32 points out of the lead, with Wade Robbins, Jamie Ventura, Chuck McDonald, Gregg Sajkowicz, Corey Caddick, and CP Burdick all within 16 points of each other.
The tightest and most dramatic point battle of Wild ‘n Wacky Wednesday is with the Super X-Cars.
Bill Rheaume and Sean Skinner are currently tied for the point lead, both missing the top 5 once with no wins. Ben Pollard sits in 3rd place and defending champion Dave Yardley is currently in 4th, four and six points out respectively.
5th place of Ray Reed is the first one on the standings with a win tied with Pat Donnellan, 10 points out a piece. Greg Moran Jr’s return to competition has him 7th. 12 points out, and in 8th John Nunes is having a strong year 14 points out.
